Job Description: HDFC Bank is hiring for the position of Clerk / Customer Service Executive. This is a front-office role where you will be the first point of contact for customers walking into the branch. We are looking for candidates with a pleasing personality and a knack for problem-solving. Daily Tasks: • Cash Handling: Accepting cash deposits, processing withdrawals, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day. • Account Management: Opening new savings/current accounts, updating passbooks, and issuing chequebooks/debit cards. • KYC Compliance: Verifying customer documents for Know Your Customer (KYC) norms during account opening or high-value transactions. • Customer Support: assisting customers with digital banking queries (NetBanking/Mobile App) and resolving complaints. • Data Entry: Accurate entry of financial transactions into the banking software.
Graduate in any discipline. Proficiency in local language (Gujarati) is highly preferred. Basic computer skills (Excel/Word).
