Job Description: Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. We are seeking candidates with a strong research background and a passion for teaching to join our academic faculty. The role involves a mix of academic instruction, research, and administrative responsibilities. Key Duties: • Teaching: Conducting lectures, tutorials, and practical lab sessions for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students. • Research: Applying for research grants, conducting independent research, and publishing papers in reputed UGC-CARE listed journals. • Mentorship: Guiding PhD scholars and Masters students in their dissertation and thesis work. • Curriculum Design: Participating in the Board of Studies meetings to update and refine the physics curriculum. • Examination: Setting question papers, evaluating answer scripts, and acting as an external examiner for practical exams.
Master’s degree with 55% marks. Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR. PhD degree holders preferred.
